Snowflake’s North Pole Adventure
An complete and interactive grotto installation to enhance customer engagement in retail environments.
For the festive season, we transformed an empty unit in Highcross Shopping Centre into a magical winter grotto with the North Pole Adventure. This immersive experience invited families to interact with Santa and his elves while exploring a beautifully decorated space featuring enchanting lighting, draping, and props.
Children embarked on a magical ring trail, collecting letters to spell "MAGIC" and engaging with diverse characters to complete their adventure. Printed maps guided them through the journey and allowed them to enter a prize draw upon completion.
Key CEP contributions included:
Transforming an empty unit with themed lighting, draping, and props to create an inviting atmosphere.
Coordinating live actors, including Santa and his elf helpers, to enhance the guest experience.
Designing an interactive ring trail with printed maps that encouraged exploration and engagement.
Implementing effective queue management solutions with vibrant print materials.

The aim was to provide an inclusive and magical adventure that encouraged footfall throughout the shopping centre, inviting families to explore a beautifully decorated grotto, interact with Santa and his elves, and engage in an interactive ring trail. The experience was designed to foster a sense of wonder and delight, keeping participants engaged at various stops and enhancing the festive atmosphere at Highcross.

Visitors to the North Pole Adventure enjoyed a variety of interactive winter-themed experiences, including:
Meet Santa and His Elves: Families began their journey in the beautifully decorated grotto where Santa greeted them in his sleigh.
Explore the Magical Ring Trail: Each stop along the ring trail featured a giant golden ring with a North Pole character that guided children in collecting letters to spell “MAGIC'“.
Submit Completed Maps for a Prize: At the end of the journey, children could submit their completed maps for a chance to win festive prizes.
