The ‘Green City’ event from Chelmsford For You is a brand-new family event that took place over Summer 2022 to raise awareness of environmental issues and educate the community on how to be more green.

For the finale of the week-long programme held in Chelmsford High Street Monday 22 - Sunday 28 August 2022, CEP provided an array of fabulous walkabout entertainment, all with an important environmental message.
The week-long programme featured a selection of family friendly entertainment which explored key environmental topics including; sustainability, plastic waste, waterways, and nature/green spaces.
“The event provides an opportunity to learn more about the current environmental issues surrounding these topics and how small changes in our daily routines can help preserve our planet and ecosystem,” Chelmsford For You.
Bringing the high street to life
To complement the theme of the Green City event, we provided Living Flower Girls, Butterfly Stilt Walkers and our popular Animatronic Gorilla with assistant to roam the high street and interact with the community.
